• Amaryllis - Amaryllis contains lycorine and other toxic alkaloids that can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain in cats and dogs.

• Poinsettia - Poinsettia contains chemicals called diterpenoid euphorbol esters and saponins, which can cause irritation to the mouth, stomach, and intestines of cats and dogs.

• Christmas cactus - Christmas cactus contains chemicals that can cause vomiting and diarrhea in cats and dogs.

• Christmas rose - Christmas rose contains chemicals called grayantoxins, which can cause vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain in cats and dogs.
